Domains
Create, View, Manage and Delete your domains by clicking on the appropriate row at the top of the page. Once you click on a domain, the details box will show below so you can edit its properties. |

Create a New Domain
To create a new domain, click the NEW DOMAIN button in the upper left corner of the domain listing table. This will open up a new properties box below so you can enter the appropriate settings. Once filled out, click SAVE to update the system. All domain settings take 30 minutes to propagate the global network of servers. |

Domain Settings
The ACTIVE DOMAIN check box allows you to disable a domain temporarily without having to delete it from the system.
The CATCH ALL DOMAIN checkbox will tell the system to accept email for any address at that domain. For example, mail addressed to bill@yourdomain.com, mike@yourdomian and even test@yourdomain.com will all be accepted even if you have not created a user account for them. If you do not check this box, the system will only accept email for addresses specified in one or more user accounts. Be extremely careful using this option. If in doubt, leave it checked.
The RELAY IPs allow you to specify IP addresses for all of your mail servers. This is only necessary if you will be sending outgoing mail through the Netriplex network.
The SMTP SERVER IP ADDRESSES are the physical IP addresses of your mail servers. You must enter at least the SERVER 1 address. If you have a second server, you may enter that IP address as well. If our system is unable to deliver to the first server, it will fail-over to the second.
The DOMAIN ADMIN drop-down menu is for your internal use only. It helps you remember who is in charge of any particular domain. |
